Who we are
Nidd Tree Surgery is a trading name of Tetherway Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17238066), whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for the details you give us on this website. Contact us at hello@niddtreesurgery.co.uk about anything in this policy.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, postcode and the description of the job. When you call our number, our phone provider records the number you call from, the time and the length of the call.
Why we use it
- To pass your enquiry to one independent local tree surgeon so they can contact you about the job. We do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form or by calling us.
- To keep a record of enquiries so we can check they were handled and deal with any complaint. We do this because it's in our legitimate interests to run the service properly.
We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for marketing.
Who we share it with
- One independent tree surgeon who covers your area. We will tell you their business name when they contact you, or at any time if you ask. They use your details only to contact you about your job.
- Companies that run parts of the service for us: our form provider Formspree, which stores data in the USA under approved safeguards, our call-tracking provider Virtually Local (Intelligent Exchanges Ltd) and our website host Cloudflare.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiry details 12 months after you contact us, unless we need them longer to deal with a complaint.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser's IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, object to how we use them, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@niddtreesurgery.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
